The site exists for two reasons: sharing and learning.

I’ve been wanting a proper platform for sharing my story and the things that I’ve learned. Doing so, I might give back to the communities that I’ve learned from over my career so far and build a legacy for those that come after.

Meanwhile, I myself am always learning. One of the best ways to learn is to teach others. By creating materials on this site I hope to capture my learning process and better connect to groups of people who want to learn the same things that I do. Importantly I hope what I post becomes an invitation for further conversation. While I like thinking of ideas in my own way, it’s important and critical to bring in and amplify other voices. By posting here, I am sharing what’s on my mind, and what I know so far. I called my posts area a journal because it’s what I’m thinking about working through. It’s always important to understand there is still much to be learned.

Everything is a remix, and this site is no different. I created this site by modifying code generously provided by my friend, Chong Han Chua. Great thanks to him for his patience in helping me get this site running.

The construction of this site relies primarily on the Jekyll Project. For more info on the technology choice, see my post here.
